Watch Iron Man jet around a building and your couch will pitch in the same direction.”
The largest consumer electronics show in the world recently wrapped up and we were there to hunt down the most interesting and helpful technology that will improve your life and make it more enjoyable in the near and distant future. The following is a list of some—and we do mean some, since there were over 3,800 exhibitors—of our favorite items shown at CES 2016.

Withings Thermo

Company: Withings

Immersit

Company: Immersit

What Is it: A device that turns your couch (chair or bed) into a dynamic piece of furniture that responds to the movies and games on your TV.

Why We Love It: Definitely the funnest tech we experienced at the show. Place it under the feet of your furniture and it will listen to what's happening—kind of like Shazam—and automatically respond with pitches, rolls and heaves that turn your viewing or playing experience into an amusement park-like entertainment immersion. Accelerate the car in your video game and it will tilt back and pin you in your seat. Watch Iron Man jet around a building and your couch will pitch in the same direction. An app also lets you control the intensity of the movement.

Moreover, the app offers a simple, clean design that makes it all but impossible to make a bad drink.

Why We Love It: Making a great tasting gluten-free bread with a pleasant texture has become something of an advanced course in culinary science. Fortunately, this bread machine from Panasonic has a setting that adjusts the time and temperature so everyone can now enjoy fresh homemade bread, regardless of their dietary restrictions.

What Is it: A Kegel exerciser and app, called TASL, that uses haptic feedback (visual and vibratory) to help women monitor and strengthen their pelvic floor (PC) muscles. The Lovelife krush has built-in sensors and connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Why We Love It: PC muscles often weaken in mothers after childbirth. This can cause incontinence and other problems. This exerciser will help moms get their strength back through voice-guided training programs offering measurable feedback. Strong PC muscles offer other benefits as well, such as more intense orgasms.
