Biography: Dr. Joni Frater & Esther Lastique

Dr. Joni Frater and Esther Lastique did not start out as relationship experts. In fact, they came from two different worlds. As a dentist, Dr. Joni's practice focused on helping patients conquer extreme fear of visiting "The Dentist." Her research and study in this area yielded a unique approach employing humor, patience and sensitivity. She became known as the specialist for phobic patients for more than 20 years. After a physical disability forced her into an early retirement, Joni's previous experience helped her to refocus her talents to employ those same skills of understanding to educate and change lives through her work as an author, speaker and radio host.

Esther Lastique has spent her life as an educator, fighting for women's rights and gay rights. While in college, she was chosen as one of Glamour magazine's Top Ten College Women for her commitment to activism. Esther owned Passions Gallery, an eclectic art collection that specialized in the beauty of the human body for 14 years in Provincetown, MA, which is how she and Joni met. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Together for seven years, Dr. Joni and Esther treasure their relationship as a model of what all relationships have the potential to become. Several years ago, this couple realized something extraordinary: everywhere they went, couples and singles would ask them about their relationship "secrets." They exude such an aura of joy and excitement that their love for each other is almost palpable. As a result, everyone seemed to want a little piece of what they have. They began to ask themselves the question "Do we know something, or have some kind of magical recipe that makes our relationship successful while so many others fail?" This launched an educational journey from which these two women will never be the same.

Surrounded by the debris of divorce even in their own family, the couple became dedicated to putting an end to relationship failure. After reading hundreds of relationship and sexual instruction books, they realized that no one had ever made the leap of sharing what works in a lesbian relationship–physical, sexual and emotional insights–with the heterosexual community. And what's more, they also learned that no one has written a reliable, accurate and easy to use set of sex tips specifically for men about how to truly please a woman both in and out of the bedroom. That is, until now.

Dr. Joni and Esther are the co-authors of "Love Her Right: The Married Man's Guide to Lesbian Secrets for Great Sex!" These relationship gurus now use their unique perspective to help heterosexual couples achieve the level of communication and passion that they share, writing and speaking across the country. They have also developed a new membership site called the Passionate Life Club where they feature 13 experts on all facets of what it takes to live life more passionately, in and out of the bedroom. In addition, they also offer a complete adult shopping site with personally hand-picked items featuring everything couples need to spice up their love lives with the luxury of privacy.
