The Perfect Wine, Golf and Spa Resort
The Silverado Resort and Spa is located in the heart of Napa and surrounded by a PGA golf course.

Set on more than 1,200 acres of land in the heart of Napa Valley, Silverado Resort and Spa is a captivating landmark destination. The AAA Four Diamond hotel property features 370 guest rooms, two 18-hole PGA championship golf courses, two restaurants, a 16,000-square foot spa, 30,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and conference space, 13 tennis courts, 10 swimming pools, and a fitness center.

The plantation-style mansion that serves as an icon for the property was built in the 1870s by Civil War General John Franklin Miller. Many illustrious guests, including President Theodore Roosevelt, were hosted there until the land was sold to the Silverado Land Company in the early 1950s and became a golf course country club. Today, the mansion holds the reception, the Mansion Lounge and Terrace, and the Conference Center.

Originally designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the two courses have seen many recent renovations under the direction of golf legend Johnny Miller, who is a co-owner of the resort. The redesigned North Course is scheduled to host the first PGA Tournament of the season, the Safeway Open, each October through 2020.

Situated around these beautiful courses, in four distinct neighborhoods, are Silverado Resort and Spa’s graciously appointed accommodations. Guests choose from resort rooms, junior suites, and spacious one-, two-, or three-bedroom suites complete with kitchens and wood-burning fireplaces. Most guest rooms open to a patio or balcony.

With all of the property’s amenities, it’s not hard to find something to do. Besides golf, tennis, swimming, bocce, and bicycle rentals, there are hiking trails and Napa Valley’s 400-plus wineries nearby. The Spa at Silverado offers a menu of massage, skin care, and body treatments. At the end of the day, one of the best places to enjoy the Napa Valley sunset is at the Mansion Lounge and Terrace overlooking the South Course’s 18th hole and the Vaca Mountains.
