A Sustainable, Exceptional Experience Awaits at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards
Feel good about the wine you drink knowing the winery cares as much about the process as they do the product.

This year, St. Francis Winery & Vineyards celebrates its 45th anniversary as a producer of luscious, fruit-driven wines that demonstrate the unique and diverse characteristics of Sonoma County terroir. Since the founding of the vineyards and winery in 1971, St. Francis has enjoyed an enviable reputation for its distinctive wines and commitment to the land where the winegrapes are grown.

With the three pillars of sustainability (environment, equity, and economics) as its guide, St. Francis has been sustainability certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance since 2013. Its 400 estate vineyard acres are farmed in adherence to a sound set of green practices. Visitors are invited to discover the beauty of the property firsthand by taking the Vineyard Adventure walk. The self-guided tour leads them through vine rows while they sample wines from grapes that grew in that very spot. This fun experience gives them a deeper appreciation for sustainable vineyard practices, terroir, and the wines.

Guests are also encouraged to partake in the winery’s nationally acclaimed five-course Wine & Food Pairing as they sit on the terrace and admire the views of the vineyards and Hood Mountain. They’ll see why St. Francis was voted #1 Restaurant in America by OpenTable Diners in 2013 and 2015. The seated, multicourse tasting features five seasonal dishes created by Executive Chef Bryan Jones, who is continually inspired by the winery’s two-acre organic herb and vegetable garden and the outstanding portfolio of St. Francis wines.

St. Francis Winery & Vineyards has three unique estate vineyards that demonstrate the rich diversity of interwoven soils, elevations, and microclimates of Sonoma County. Tasting room guests are able to sample wines expertly crafted from the estate vineyards as well as from other acclaimed Sonoma County appellations. The limited production artisan collection wines are only available in the tasting room and through the wine club.

Guests can enjoy a great view from the patio.
