A magnificent ancient cedar snag stands in the entry drive, giving arriving guests their first glimpse of the area’s cedar-farming past. The tribute to this legacy continues throughout the lodge’s buildings and grounds. Douglas fir timbers, fine-grained ash wood, and recycled slate are primary elements, and a photo collection of the valley in its early years hangs in the special function area.
At the same time, Willows Lodge is committed to making its guests comfortable in every modern way. All 77 guest rooms and seven suites feature ultra-contemporary luxuries like bathrooms with soaking tubs that offer clear sight lines to each room’s stone-trimmed fireplace and large flat-screen TV; beds with 300 thread-count Egyptian linens; noiseless refrigerators; and French press coffee systems. A 2,500-square-foot spa and health club offers an exercise room, steam room, outdoor Jacuzzi, and a tempting array of soothing services.
What’s more, Willows Lodge prides itself in serving the Pacific Northwest’s finest cuisine in two award-winning restaurants. Under the direction of Executive Chef Bobby Moore, the Barking Frog restaurant serves American regional cuisine with Pacific Northwest influences in a bistro-like setting.
